My ring succumbed to a pair of dykes after a wasp sting. Silicone after that. Saved the gold one for special occasions.

I love the idea of a “new” vintage style camper top. Should be a small step for a stepper like you Benny. The one I have is just square aluminum tubing framed I believe. But you might give a later deadline for the camper top. You’ve got plenty to do already.

It saves alot worked at a junkyard The clean and pretty starters and alternators would come back for returns all the time. The ones covered in dirty grease you'd never see again

I am addicted to this channel now. I’m going Friday to buy my own 1966 Datsun 520 Rust Bucket. She’s beautiful too: a complete mess where nothing works and holes everywhere. I’m tearing up with happiness just thinking about all of the stress and pain it will cause me.

That happened to a friend of mine, but it was an electrical burn that just kept going until someone killed the current - he wears a silicone band now 😅 I hope it heals quickly for you!

I like the utility of my topper with swing-up side windows and a taller roofline/rear hatch. But I used a vinyl tonneau cover mostly. For the look.

That floor is looking good! No shade on Dalton from PBG, but I do cringe a little with his number plate and screw floor "repairs" (he knows it's a temp fix and not the right way to do it).

I had a lot of fun with the 1968 and 1969 PL520( CORRECTION: PL521 NODEL with the straight fenders) pickups. One had a 302 Ford with a C-4 trans and Torino rear axle, another was a high performance 327 4-speed and then a 4x4 with 1980 Toyota pickup drive train. 🙂 I have a 1997 GL1500 with 53,000 miles, but nearly impossible to find decent 521 bodies, especially with the pointed fender lights.

Well since you took out the mount locking tabs, might as well drill a bigger hole on the stud eyelet and stick a rod to lock it from spinning off.
